#What is a design system?

In a nutshell, a design system allows easy design decisions to be made fast.

Easy decisions are things like “Which color should this button be?”, “How should I separate content?”, or “How big should the text be?”.

This enables our teams to have more time to work on harder questions, like “Which steps should make the user go through for this feature?” (User flows), or “How should we display information, so that the user can understand it?” (Information Architecture), or “Is this solution the right one for the problem?” (Strategy and Scoping).
