These rules apply to Galaxus.

Galactica is the typeface used throughout the Galaxus Design System. This sans-serif font, available as a variable font for digital applications, complements the Europa font, which is used for marketing materials.

To ensure more control over alignment between interface elements and readability in all screen sizes and applications, fixed line spacing has been defined.

#Font weights

We use the font weights 300, 400 and 650, these are equivalent to light, regular and a “less-heavy” bold weight. 400 is the regular font weight is used for copy text, while 650 is mainly used in headlines and 300 is generally avoided, only being used as a contrast to 650 in headlines.

#Use of color

In general the typeface is used without color markings, i.e. in black and white. If individual pieces of information are to be highlighted, the first step is to work with the font styles.
